With his fourth feature film, Swades (Our Country) in 2004, Ashutosh Gowariker and his wife, Sunita Gowariker, launched their own film production house - Ashutosh Gowariker Productions (AGPPL).

Dedicated to making content across all platforms be it Screen, Television, Music and OTT, AGPPL has collaborated with a long list of A-List industry talent and studios such as UTV, Disney, PVR, Star Plus and T-Series.

AGPPL, through its films, has always triggered a discussion on highly relevant topics like Nationalism, Patriotism, Religious Tolerance, Caste System, Women’s Empowerment, Girl Child, and several Social Issues that India is battling with today.

The films have won several awards across India as well as International festivals, including National Awards in India.
