The “Mard Maratha” song in Panipat was shot over 13 days with 1300 dancers at an opulent set of Shaniwar Wada erected in Karjat.
It was shot on an extensive scale, replete with Peshwai ambience with a grand Ganesh idol.
19,000 meters of fabric were used for the army's costumes, turbans, and character costumes.
2800 jewellery pieces were used in the film.
Some days of shoot required 60 tents to be pitched including Maratha and Afghan tents.
These were specially designed for the film with reference to period paintings and texts.
